Badminton matches will be conducted in accordance with official badminton rules and ISP Games regulations. The following rules and competition format will apply throughout the tournament:

• Matches will be played using the rally point scoring system, meaning a point is awarded on every rally regardless of which player or pair served.

• Matches will consist of 1 set played to 21 points.

• No deuce will be played. If the score reaches 20–20, the next point scored wins the match.

• Players/pairs will change ends when one side reaches 11 points.

• A coin toss or shuttle toss will determine which side serves first or chooses ends.

• The serving side must serve diagonally into the opponent’s correct service court.

• At the start of the match and when the server’s score is even, the serve must be made from the right service court. When the score is odd, the serve must be made from the left service court.

• A serve must be struck below the server’s waist with the racket shaft pointing downwards at the moment of contact.

• Players may not obstruct, distract, or deliberately interfere with opponents during play.

• A shuttle landing on any boundary line will be considered in.

• If the shuttle touches the ceiling, surrounding structure, or any object outside the court boundaries, the rally will be awarded to the opposing side.

• Players must be ready to play at the scheduled match time. A grace period of 5 minutes may be allowed at the discretion of the tournament referee. Failure to attend may result in a walkover.

• Appropriate sports attire and non-marking indoor court shoes must be worn at all times.

• Unsportsmanlike behaviour, abusive language, or misconduct towards officials, opponents, or spectators may result in warnings, point penalties, or disqualification.

• The decision of the match umpire, referee, or tournament organiser will be final in all matters relating to play and competition rules.

• Tournament organisers reserve the right to amend formats, schedules, or match durations where necessary due to time, weather, or operational requirements.
