Volleyball matches will be conducted in accordance with official volleyball rules and ISP Games regulations. The following rules and competition format will apply throughout the tournament:

• Matches will be played using the rally point scoring system, meaning a point is awarded on every rally regardless of which team served.

• Sets will be played to 25 points.

• A team must win by a minimum of 2 clear points. If the score reaches 24–24, play will continue until one team leads by 2 points.

• Matches will consist of 1 set unless otherwise stated by the tournament organiser.

• Each team will be permitted 1 timeout per set. Timeouts must be requested by the captain or coach through the referee and will be limited to the duration specified by the official.

• Teams will consist of the agreed number of players per side (as specified by the competition format), with rolling substitutions permitted.

• Rolling substitutions may be made at any stoppage in play and must be completed quickly and safely through the designated substitution zone.

• A coin toss will determine first serve and side of court.

• Teams will rotate in a clockwise direction when they win the right to serve after winning a rally on the opponent’s serve.

• Standard volleyball faults apply, including but not limited to: double contact, lifts/carries, net touch (when interfering with play), foot faults on serve, and illegal rotation.

• The ball may be played off any part of the body, provided it is clean and legal under volleyball rules.

• A maximum of three touches per side is allowed before the ball must be returned over the net.

• Blocking a serve is not permitted.

• Players must avoid any dangerous or unsportsmanlike conduct, including aggressive contact or interference.

• Matches will be played under a continuous rally system; the clock is not used to determine match length.

• The referee’s decision on all points, faults, and match situations is final.

• Teams must be ready to start at the scheduled match time. Failure to do so may result in a forfeit.

• Appropriate sports attire must be worn at all times.

• Tournament organisers reserve the right to adjust rules, formats, or scheduling where necessary for safety, time management, or operational reasons.
